The boy band SEVENTEEN next month will become the first K-pop act to perform at Disney's year-end holiday show in the U.S.

Pledis Entertainment, the group's management agency, on Nov. 21 said SEVENTEEN on Dec. 1 will perform on "The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular," which will be aired by ABC TV.

Now in its ninth year, the show has featured top musicians across genres such as pop vocalists Mariah Carey and Michael Bolton and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.

Along with Elton John, John Legend and Pentatonix, SEVENTEEN at this year's event will perform the Christmas carol "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town."

The boy band held 10 concerts in five U.S. cities as part of its world tour "Right Here." Nov. 27 will see the release of "Shohikigen," the group's fourth single on the Japanese market, to kick off their "dome" tour in Japan.

SEVENTEEN reaffirmed its popularity with the Oct. 14 release of its 12th EP "Spill the Feels," which topped music charts at home and abroad.
